" The COVID-19 pandemic has affected how all children are learning during 2020; we've found Kristen and Ali's small-group and one-on-one sessions with our kids to be an invaluable resource for learning in this new environment. Ms. Gagnon has been a tremendous help in teaching our first-grade daughter reading skills, handwriting, and cursive; her reading is above grade-level and she finds Kristen's tutoring sessions to be the highlight of her school week. Ali Hamar has been working with our fourth-grade son on spelling and writing skills. We've seen a marked improvement in his writing and Ali has been a great influence on his emotional well-being at a time when social interactions are very limited for him. Both Ali and Kristen are adept at making learning fun, identifying where students need extra attention, and redirecting when frustrations occur. They've been indispensable in keeping our children on-track this school year. "

" Ms. (Mrs.) G has been a shining star in these past unclear and challenging days. With COVID, we opted for a homeschooling program this year and with Ms. G's guidance, knowledge and fast on her toes thinking, she has kept my daughter engaged and enjoying the learning process. My daughter's confidence in her reading, math and ability to comprehend and express herself have continued to improve every week. Ms. G has also helped me with my confidence, patience and my ability to teach and allow the process to evolve as it may and at my daughter's own pace. I can rest easy knowing that whatever happens in the school year to come, my daughter will have established a solid foundation to continue in her learning journey with confidence and joy. Below -I can mention something about the pod but I wanted to try and be concise - not my forte!
We have been able to do a pod with 1 friend in person and sometimes more friends via zoom and the kids are so happy to see each other and be supportive of one another in the process of the activity Ms. G is leading them in. So much fun! "
