Sixth Grader at a public school in Kona enjoys acting. Her talents in theater inspired a customized curriculum for math facts using songs. We work on her goals of higher levels of math and high grades. She has brought her level of confidence up from a 1 to a 10!
Homeschool Sophomore-Senior year. We use excel for her business and her entrepreneur class. We cover Geometry, Writing, History, Religion, Literature, Biology, Business, and Nutrition. She has inspired me in creatively creating curriculum. Now we are studying life topics like finance, and How to switch on your brain!
Layla is my daughter. We enjoyed homeschooling in Oregon. Now she attends a local charter school in Kailua-Kona and loves her time in the garden. I learned how to apply my doctoral work in curriculum when I applied my book knowledge to teaching her.
Goose is my son. He attends a local charter school with his sister. He loves cats, math, and anything with a ball. We practice our phonics, spelling and multiplication facts we enjoy reading together.
Mrs. G enjoys tutoring me being a bilingual student. We work on reading, writing and math with advanced methods and strategies integrating her love of cats.
